Common law directives are the only Advance Directives that exist and are legally binding in New South Wales (NSW). Statutory Advance Directives do not exist.
NSW Health has released a booklet on Making an Advance Care Directive to support people who wish to write an Advance Care Directive, including an example form. However, this document is not a Statutory Advance Directive.
